Kevin Bethea
In the late 1980s, second-generation Pentecostal preacher Kevin Bethea engaged in
a series of radio debates with church of Christ ministers.
As Bethea recalls, “I lost, but I won Christ.”
After his baptism, the Baltimore native placed membership with what is the now
the Deer Park church, Randallstown, and later served as assistant minister.
In December 1995, Bethea and a group of about 35 original members planted the
East Baltimore church. The congregation met at a hotel and in converted storefronts
before buying a former Masons building. In 10 years, it has grown to 325 members.
The East Baltimore church has helped plant two other churches, including the recent
launching of the Southside church, a project of the Sunset International Bible
Institute’s Focus Northeast. Richard Brent, a graduate of Sunset, Lubbock, Texas,
is the Southside minister.
Bethea hosts a radio call-in program, Search the Scriptures, and serves as certified
satellite school administrator for the East Baltimore Bible Institute, a Sunset external studies program.
He and his wife, Brenda, have four children: Erica, 22; Eric, 20; Eian, 15; and Erin, 4.

Edwin Floyd
Ed attended FHC (now FHU) 1958-60 and majored in Bible. He then attended Oklahoma Christian and graduated with a BS in Elementary Education and then obtained a Masters degree in Elementary Education while teaching school in Berkeley Springs, WV. He retired from teaching after 31 years in the classroom.
He has Worked as minister in Front Royal, VA, and Berkeley Springs, WV, and Cumberland, MD. He has been the associate Minister in Martinsburg, WV since 2003.
He is married to the former LaNelle Neal whose father Denton Neal preached the Gospel for 40 years. They have two children (and soon to be) 9 grandchildren.

Charlie Frampton
Charlie Frampton is a 2004 graduate of the East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions.
He has served the Lord's church in Winfield, WV and currently works with the brethren in South Williamsport, PA.
Charlie and his wife Laura (Green) have been married for 20 years and richly blessed with four children: Tyler (14), Connor (10), Rachel (5) and Anna (4).

Jason Gambol
Born and raised in Jackson, TN.
Married to Christie Ritch in 2001.
Graduated from the East Tennessee School of Preaching in 2007.
Currently the minister at Coventry Hills church of Christ.

Doug Hamilton
Doug Hamilton is the pulpit minister and evangelist at the Church of Christ in Camp Hill, PA since 2002 and is active in many foreign missions, including Romania, Africa and India.
He is a graduate of Sunset International Bible Institute and Southern Christian University.
He is happily married to his wife Jana and has four faithful children and two grandchildren.

Gary Hampton
Gary C. Hampton has been preaching since 1968 and has done work in North Little Rock, Arkansas; Mobile, Alabama; and Valdosta, Georgia. He is currently serving as the pulpit minister for the Jefferson Avenue church in Cookeville, Tennessee. Gary is also teaching in the Nashville School of Preaching and Biblical Studies. He graduated from Freed-Hardeman University with a B. A. in Bible in 1976 and received his M. A. in Biblical Studies from Theological University of America in 1996. Hampton has 16 books in print, In the Beginning, Seldom Studied Scriptures, When God Ruled Israel, The Earliest Christians, God’s Way to Right Living, Strengthening the Temple of God, Galatians: Freedom In Christ, Walking in the Lord's Way, Rejoicing in the Lord, The Sufficiency of Christ, Letters to Young Preachers, Christ Is Superior, Practical Christianity, Developing Patient Determination, That You May Know… and Unseen Hand: A Father and Son View Providence. He has written for The World Evangelist, The Voice of Truth International and the Gospel Advocate. He has preached in 23 states and done mission work in 5 foreign countries. Gary and his wife Teresa have two children, Nathan and Tabitha.

Rick Janelle
Janelle, 47, a native of Amarillo, Texas, formerly served as pulpit minister for
Hickory Church of Christ, Hickory, N.C.
He was also pulpit minister for the Caledonia Church of Christ in Caledonia, Miss., from 1991 to 1997.
Janelle graduated from Magnolia Bible College in Mississippi with a bachelor’s
degree in biblical studies and received his masters degree in liberal studies,
world religions, from the University of North Carolina.
Prior to becoming a minister, Janelle was self-employed as a general contractor
in Corpus Christi, Texas.
“I never regretted it,” he said.
In 1982, he served in a leadership training program as an advisory member on
Alabama Gov. George Wallace’s staff.
Janelle enjoys driving his sports car and spending time with people.
He and his wife, Tammy, who works as a substitute teacher, reside in Shillington.
They have four children: Velvet and Caleb, at home, and Crystal and Ben, who are both married.

Lonnie Jones
Lonnie Jones Jr.; a native of the State of Tennessee, began preaching part-time in 1999 for the church of Christ in Cleveland, TN.
Lonnie is a 2002 graduate of the East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions, Knoxville, TN.
He holds an associates degree in accounting from Cleveland State Community College.
From 2003 to 2006, Lonnie served as the pulpit minister for the Essex Village church of Christ in Charleston, SC.
In September 2006 Lonnie, Karen, and their children (Daniel, Allyson, and Olivia) moved to Carlisle, where Lonnie serves the church as the outreach minister and assist with pulpit preaching.
In addition to his local work, Lonnie conducts gospel meetings and speaks in lectureships.

Michael Jones
Michael has been the preaching minister for the Lebanon Valley Church of Christ since September of 2006.
A native of Henderson, TN, he holds a Bachelors Degree in Child and Family Studies from Freed-Hardeman University and a Masters Degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry Degree in Spiritual Formation from Ashland Theological Seminary.
He has worked previously as a youth minister and chemical dependency counselor.
He has been married to Dana for nine years and they have two daughters: Mikayla and Emily.
His emphases have been in preaching, teaching and public worship.
Prior to coming to Lebanon Valley he preached for churches in Canton, OH and Memphis, TN.
He has participated in mission efforts to Nicaragua, Mexico, and Canada.
He is trained to provide premarital, marriage, family and individual counseling for those in need. He is a nationally certified counselor. He is also licensed to practice as a professional counselor in PA and TN.

Kevin Key
Kevin E. Key; a native of the State of Indiana, began his work in 1995 as a part-time pulpit preacher for the Plainview Church of Christ, Paoli, Indiana. Kevin is a 2003 graduate of the East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions, Knoxville, TN. He holds a BA in Biblical Counseling from Theological University of America. In August, 2003 Kevin, Dawn and their children (Trent, and Miranda) moved to Carlisle, where Kevin serves the church as the pulpit minister and assists in personal evangelism. In addition to his local work, Kevin conducts gospel meetings, speaks in lectureships, and is an instructor at church camp.

Steven Lucas
Steven Lucas was born in Dothan, Alabama in 1967. He was raised in Mobile, Alabama. He and his wife, Toni, are blessed with two children, Emily and Will. Steven received a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Faulkner University in 1990. He graduated from the East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions in 2006. Steven is the minister for the church of Christ in Ligonier, Pennsylvania.

Chris Ritch
Chris graduated from Memphis School of Preaching in 2006.
In 2006, he was married to Amanda.
He has been preaching at the Sheffield Church of Christ in North Carolina since Sept. 2006.
Chris is a brother to Christie Ritch Gambol, the wife of Jason Gambol.

David Stearsman
David Stearsman has been preaching for the Media church of Christ in Media, Pennsylvania since December 2006. He received his formal education from the University of South Florida (BA in professional and technical writing, 2000) and the Florida School of Preaching (2006 graduate). He and his wife Susan live in Philadelphia.

Jerry Stumpf
Jerry has been married to Elaine for 34 years. They have 3 childen and four grandchildren.
He has preached full time 28 years, 14 of which have been in Altoona, PA.
He was appointed an elder two years ago. This is the first set of elders here in Altoona as best we know. We now also have six deacons.
Jerry has a BS From American Cristian School of Religion.
He is also a Graduate of Whites Ferry Road School of Preaching.
He is a Certified instructor - Family Dynamics. He has conducted Marriage seminars in Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Arkansas.
