Ralph Brewer

Ralph E. Brewer was born August 4, 1958 in Sterling, Illinois.  He graduated in 1976 from Othello High School then earned a bachelor’s degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas in 1980 and a

Master’s degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas in 1981.

 

He is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral counselor with a Ph.D in Clinical Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University.

 

Ralph has served in the following positions: Prinicpal of Mountain View Christian Academy in Grandview, Washington 1981-1984; Education/Recreation Supervisor for Shults-Lewis Child & Family Services 1984-1993; Full time houseparent in 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 2002; Minister of Family services for Potter Children’s Home 1993 to 2005; Executive Director of Potter Children’s Home from December 2003 to present.

 

He is an elder of the Alvaton Church of Christ, Alvaton, Kentucky. He has directed Summer Camp sessions for twenty years.

 

He and his wife of twenty four years have three children in college.


 

Paul Cantrell

Paul E. Cantrell presently is working with the Camp Hill, PA, Church of Christ as an associate minister. He is married to the former Mildred Litle of Amarillo, TX, and they have two children (Paul Stephen Cantrell and Lori Eleen Deitch) and eight grandchildren. They all live in the Camp Hill, PA, area.

Paul Attended David Lipscomb University where he graduated with a BA in Speech with double minor in Bible and English in 1952. He also attended Harding University where he received his MA in New Testament studies in 1953.

He has preached for over 50 years in various states: Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, Missouri, Texas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. 42 years of his work has been with churches in the Northeastern states. He has preached in Gospel Meetings and spoken on Lectureships in some 20 states. He has gone to India and Ghana on short mission trips four different times.

Paul has taught Bible for credit in a Bible Chair arrangement at two state Universities in Denton, Texas, and taught part-time for five years at the previous Northeastern Christian Jr. College. He has also conducted workshops on Money Management for several years.

The Camp Hill Church is allowing Paul to prepare these Bible study books for their use and also make them available to individuals and churches who might desire to use them. All of his study books are available in bound form, as well as on a CD. All of these studies can be freely copied from the printed books or the CD. The material can be used for a variety of uses: Bible Classes, Home Bible Studies, Individual studies, to convert or to strengthen. He will be happy to know that they are being used to the saving of souls and to the glory of God.

 


 

Dwane Casteel

Dwane Casteel is married to the former Betty Biggoney of Sweetwater, TN and they have three children and four grandchildren. They presently live in Charles Town, WV.

Dwane has attended Freed-Hardeman University, Shepherd University, Delaware Community and Technical College, Southern Christian University. He has served as minister of the church in Martinsburg, WV, Seaford, DE, Lanett, AL and Charles Town, WV the past 40 years and made some 45 mission trips to China, Cuba, Dominican Republic and Jamaica. He has served as Chaplin at Nanticoke Hospital, Seaford, DE and on the Citizen’s Advisory Board of the Harpers Ferry Job Corp Center.

Dwane presently serves on the Board of Directors of Friends of Happy Retreat, a nonprofit corporation dedicated to the acquiring, preserving and promoting of Happy Retreat, the ancestral home of George Washington’s brother, Charles. He also serves as a member of the President’s Ambassadors For Christian Education of Ohio Valley University, Vienna, WV.

He currently serves as Associate Director of Development for the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Fund, Inc. of Nashville, TN which provides relief supplies through local congregations where natural disasters have struck. He has recently accepted the position of Coordinator for the Annual Caribbean Mission Forum, which provides information and resources for Caribbean Missions.


 

Keith Hodges

This native Kentuckian spent the first 6 years of his ministry as a Youth Minister. He and Francie have lived in the greater Philadelphia region for 25 years, and he now preaches for the Chesmont church of Christ in Pottstown, PA. He offices is in a Christian High School, where he interacts daily with members and nonmembers of the body of Christ. He annually directs a week of church camp for 15 and 16 year olds.

 


 

Lonnie Jones

Lonnie Jones Jr.; a native of the State of Tennessee, began preaching part-time in 1999 for the church of Christ in Cleveland, TN. Lonnie is a 2002 graduate of the East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions, Knoxville, TN. He holds an associates degree in accounting from Cleveland State Community College. From 2003 to 2006, Lonnie served as the pulpit minister for the Essex Village church of Christ in Charleston, SC. In September 2006 Lonnie, Karen, and their children (Daniel, Allyson, and Olivia) moved to Carlisle, where Lonnie serves the church as the outreach minister and assist with pulpit preaching. In addition to his local work, Lonnie conducts gospel meetings and speaks in lectureships.


 

Kevin Key

Kevin E. Key; a native of the State of Indiana, began his work in 1995 as a part-time pulpit preacher for the Plainview Church of Christ, Paoli, Indiana. Kevin is a 2003 graduate of the East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions, Knoxville, TN. He holds a BA in Biblical Counseling from Theological University of America. In August, 2003 Kevin, Dawn and their children (Trent, and Miranda) moved to Carlisle, where Kevin serves the church as the pulpit minister and assists in personal evangelism. In addition to his local work, Kevin conducts gospel meetings, speaks in lectureships, and is an instructor at church camp.

 


 

Ryan Roark

Ryan is a native of the Tampa Bay area of Florida. He married his wife, Kelly (also a Tampa Bay area native) in 2001. Kelly is an elementary school teacher. They do not have children yet, but have two dogs, Angus and Louis (pronounced Loo-ee, and named for hockey star, Martin St. Louis). Ryan claims that these two “boys” are training him and Kelly well for parenthood.

Ryan attended the University of South Florida (Tampa, FL) for three years as a business major until making the decision to preach the gospel full-time. He enrolled at the Florida School of Preaching (Lakeland, FL), where he graduated in 2002. Ryan continued his education by earning a B.S. degree in Bible/Ministry from Southern Christian University (Montgomery, AL). He plans to pursue a Master’s Degree in the near future.

Ryan’s first full-time preaching work was at the North River church of Christ in Parrish, Florida (2002-2004). He and Kelly moved to Tennessee to work with the West Fayetteville church of Christ (Fayetteville, TN) from 2004 to 2006. He began his work with the Cold Harbor Road congregation on January 1, 2007.

Ryan enjoys weight training and following sports, especially U.S.F. Bulls football and basketball.
