Robert C. Veil, Jr. Robert C. Veil, Jr. is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University, and the University of Maryland School of Law. He is a full-time prosecutor for the office of the State’s Attorney for Washington County, Maryland. In addition, He has been a gospel preacher for over 25 years. He is a speaker in gospel meetings, lectureships and special events, and currently preaches for the Coalmont, Pennsylvania church of Christ.
Max Patterson Max Patterson was raised in McNairy County, West Tennessee. He is married to the former Billie Pasley. They have three children and nine foster children.: He is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University (AA), Harding College (BA) and Harding Graduate School of Religion (MA, MRE) He taught at Northwest Mississippi Junior College, Senatobia, MS; Freed-Hardeman University, Henderson, TN; Bible School of the Ozarks, Neosho, MO; and the School of Bible Emphasis. Max preached 12 years for the White Street church in Henderson, TN, 10 years in Northeast Texas, and nine years for the Hillcrest church in Neosho, MO, and is now retired from full-time preaching. He has many years of radio and TV experience, has served on the board of Christian camps, as well as a director. Max is the author of several tracts, and more than 20 books, mostly outline commentaries.
Stephen Guy Steven K. Guy serves as the pulpit minister of the Booneville Church of Christ in Booneville, Mississippi. He is a professor of homiletics, Bible, and ministry courses at Heritage Christian University in Florence, Alabama. He has ministered in California, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi. He earned his Doctor of Ministry from Harding University Graduate School of Religion in Memphis. In his 30 years of ministry, he has taught Men’s Leadership Training Classes and Timothy Classes, directed youth camps, and Lads to Leaders programs, and presented messages on radio and TV. He has held revival meetings from coast to coast. He and his wife, Cynthia, have four sons: Jared, Nathan, Matthew, and Jordan.
Paul Cantrell Paul E. Cantrell presently is working with the Camp Hill, PA, Church of Christ as an associate minister. He is married to the former Mildred Litle of Amarillo, TX, and they have two children (Paul Stephen Cantrell and Lori Eleen Deitch) and eight grandchildren. They all live in the Camp Hill, PA, area. Paul Attended David Lipscomb University where he graduated with a BA in Speech with double minor in Bible and English in 1952. He also attended Harding University where he received his MA in New Testament studies in 1953. He has preached for over 50 years in various states: Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, Missouri, Texas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. 42 years of his work has been with churches in the Northeastern states. He has preached in Gospel Meetings and spoken on Lectureships in some 20 states. He has gone to India and Ghana on short mission trips four different times. Paul has taught Bible for credit in a Bible Chair arrangement at two state Universities in Denton, Texas, and taught part-time for five years at the previous Northeastern Christian Jr. College. He has also conducted workshops on Money Management for several years. The Camp Hill Church is allowing Paul to prepare these Bible study books for their use and also make them available to individuals and churches who might desire to use them. All of his study books are available in bound form, as well as on a CD. All of these studies can be freely copied from the printed books or the CD. The material can be used for a variety of uses: Bible Classes, Home Bible Studies, Individual studies, to convert or to strengthen. He will be happy to know that they are being used to the saving of souls and to the glory of God.
Byron Henbest Byron Henbest, the son of a minister in the church of Christ, was born and lived his early years in southwest, MO, OK, and ARI. In 1966 the family moved to Joliet, IL where he attended high school and began his early career. While in Joliet, his family was active in the Joy Bus Ministry and Marriage Encounter. He married his wife, Barb, in 1972 and they have three children, Melanie, Johanna and Brandon and two grandchildren. They served as houseparents at Shults-Lewis Child and Family Services for seven and a half years. In 1984 Byron enrolled at Briston Road School of Biblical Studies in Flint, MI. During the next few years he served a volunteer Chaplain at Westville Correctional Center and then as a located minister. Since 1992 the Henbest family has served at Potter Children’s Home in various capacities. Since 1994 Byron has traveled for the home, gathering commodity items and sharing the story of the work at the home. The Henbests attend the University church of Christ in downtown Bowling Green, KY. Byron teaches the adult class and Barb teaches the pre-schoolers.
Teresa Hampton Teresa Hampton has taught numerous ladies’ classes and has held workshops for Christian women across the U.S. and Canada. She has written material for and served as coordinator for many Vacation Bible Schools. She has also served in other capacities such as pre-school supervisor, coordinator of special events, and writer of educational material for the Bible school, with an emphasis and passion for Vacation Bible School - a secondary passion is her artwork. Teresa has written two class books for women, Illuminating Shadows, a study of the fulfillment of the shadows of the Old Testament by the coming of Jesus and His people, the Church, and Leading Ladies, a study of leadership for women. Her third book, Come To The Garden, was released in 2004 and is now available in bookstores. In July of that same year, on the Freed-Hardeman University campus, she presented material to women called Jesus and His Relationship to Women, which is available through the FHU bookstore. Teresa attended Freed-Hardeman University, Georgia Military College and Theological University of America. She taught kindergarten classes at Mobile Christian School in Mobile, Alabama, and middle school girls’ Bible classes at Georgia Christian School in Valdosta, Georgia. Teresa Hampton is married to Gary C. Hampton, pulpit minister for the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Cookeville, Tennessee. They have two children, Nathan and Tabitha.
Keith Hodges This native Kentuckian spent the first 6 years of his ministry as a Youth Minister. He and Francie have lived in the greater Philadelphia region for 25 years, and he now preaches for the Chesmont church of Christ in Pottstown, PA. He offices is in a Christian High School, where he interacts daily with members and nonmembers of the body of Christ. He annually directs a week of church camp for 15 and 16 year olds.
Jack McNeil Jack McNeil was born in Pittsburg, PA and later moved to Harrisburg where, while attending high school, he met his wife, Mary Davis McNeil. They have been married for 34 years and have 4 children Nicole, Avery, Jack, Jr. and Danyel and 9 grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Navy for 13 years. While serving in Charleston, S.C. he was baptized on October 5, 1974 at the Jacksonville Rd. church of Christ which is now the Azalea Dr. church of Christ. After his last tour of duty was up he decided to serve in the ministry full time. He served the Berkeley church of Christ in Moncks Corner S.C. for 10 years then he did mission work establishing the Ridgeland church of Christ and worked with it for 3 years. In 1992, he became minister of the Park St. church of Christ in Columbia, S.C. where he continues to serve. He attended the Trident Technical College in Charleston, Southern Christian University and Bethan Bible College. He has 2 degrees in Religion and is certified by Family Dynamics Inc. as a marriage workshop facilitator. He has conducted Gospel Meetings throughout the Brotherhood and has spoken on numerous Lectureships. He was speaker on a weekly radio program and currently speaks on the program Is It From Heaven Or From Men which airs weekly on 2 television stations.
Gary Hampton Gary C. Hampton has been preaching since 1968 and has done work in North Little Rock, Arkansas; Mobile, Alabama; and Valdosta, Georgia. He is currently serving as the pulpit minister for the Jefferson Avenue church in Cookeville, Tennessee. Gary is also teaching in the Nashville School of Preaching and Biblical Studies. He graduated from Freed-Hardeman University with a B. A. in Bible in 1976 and received his M. A. in Biblical Studies from Theological University of America in 1996. Hampton has 16 books in print, In the Beginning, Seldom Studied Scriptures, When God Ruled Israel, The Earliest Christians, God’s Way to Right Living, Strengthening the Temple of God, Galatians: Freedom In Christ, Walking in the Lord's Way, Rejoicing in the Lord, The Sufficiency of Christ, Letters to Young Preachers, Christ Is Superior, Practical Christianity, Developing Patient Determination, That You May Know… and Unseen Hand: A Father and Son View Providence. He has written for The World Evangelist, The Voice of Truth International and the Gospel Advocate. He has preached in 23 states and done mission work in 5 foreign countries. Gary and his wife Teresa have two children, Nathan and Tabitha.
Ancil Jenkins Ancil Jenkins’ primary work for over fifty years is ministering a local congregation. However, he has been active in other areas as well. Interest in foreign missions has taken him to 11 foreign countries as well as 39 states. He has served as either director or speaker for over 20 campaigns in several countries. His next effort is directing a medical and evangelistic mission in Jamaica in July, 2006. He is the author of six books, including Lord, Teach Us to Pray, Commentary on Mark, A. G. Freed: Biography of a Gentleman, Meditations on the Mountain, Lord I Need Help and More Meditations on the Mountain. His long time interest in the Restoration Movement has led him to visit a number of related sites. In the past several years he has been invited to speak on this subject. At the present he is an instructor at the Nashville School of Preaching and serves as minister of the church in Jamestown, Tennessee.
Mark Weaver Mark Weaver is the located Preacher for the Vermilion Church of Christ in Vermilion, Ohio. He is a 2001 Graduate of the West Virginia School of Preaching. He has spoken on Lectureships and Gospel Meetings in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Minnesota and Wisconsin. He is particularly interested in mission works in the United States. He is an avid student of History, including church and restoration history. He and his wife Dawn have five children; James, Hope, Faith, Grace and John.
Adam Cozort Adam Cozort is a 2005 graduate of the
Tri-Cities School of Preaching and Christian Development. He
Bob Raby Bob Raby is minister/elder of the University church of Christ, executive director of Life Care Ministries and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Potter Children’s Home and Family Ministries in Bowling Green, KY. He has a degree in Biblical Studies from David Lipscomb University, Business from Western Kentucky University and Psychology from Dallas State University. Bob has given 36 years to the ministry having served in five states. He is certified in Dale Carnegie Training. He served in the U.S. Army Intelligence “Black Opp” with the 1st Air Cav in Viet Nam where he received the Silver Star. Bob and his wife Rosa have been married 40 years and have two children and four grandchildren.
Ralph Brewer Ralph E. Brewer was born August 4, 1958 in Sterling, Illinois. He graduated in 1976 from Othello High School then earned a bachelor’s degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas in 1980 and a Master’s degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas in 1981.
He is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral counselor with a Ph.D in Clinical Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University.
Ralph has served in the following positions: Prinicpal of Mountain View Christian Academy in Grandview, Washington 1981-1984; Education/Recreation Supervisor for Shults-Lewis Child & Family Services 1984-1993; Full time houseparent in 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 2002; Minister of Family services for Potter Children’s Home 1993 to 2005; Executive Director of Potter Children’s Home from December 2003 to present.
He is an elder of the Alvaton Church of Christ, Alvaton, Kentucky. He has directed Summer Camp sessions for twenty years.
He and his wife of twenty four years have three children in college.
